The Parkinson’s Disease Data and Organizing Center (PD-DOC) was established at the University of Rochester September, 2004 as part of a cooperative agreement (U01NS0050095) with NINDS. The PD-DOC facilitates inter-institutional clinical research in PD by providing specific shared resources:
- A centralized and standardized database (PD-DOC Database) of clinical, environmental risk, neuropathological and biological data from subjects with PD and controls (patients with other parkinsonian conditions and normals).
- Providing links to research materials available at user sites.
