NINDS Human Genetics Repository (at Coriell) Policy

Investigators submitting data to the PD-DOC Database are required to request permission from each subject to have blood samples sent to the NINDS Human Genetics Repository (at Coriell) for establishment of a permanent source of DNA.

For those subjects providing permission, instructions on how to submit samples and accompanying information are provided at the NINDS Human Genetics Repository (at Coriell) website. Links to the  NINDS Human Genetics Repository (at Coriell) website are provided below. Instructions specific to PD-DOC are included on the links below and in the Operations Manual for the CORE Data Set.

Thus, for most subjects in the PD-DOC Database, DNA is available from NINDS Human Genetics Repository (Coriell) for study in conjunction with the data stored in the PD-DOC Database. In some cases Linked Databases or Databases for Sharing may also have DNA available from NINDS Human Genetics Repository (at Coriell) for study in conjunction with their data.
