The value of all clinical data collected in the PD-DOC Database is enhanced by the presence of postmortem brain neuropathologic information. The PD-DOC requests that each subject who contributes data is informed about the importance of postmortem brain examination as well as the local procedures for brain donation in the event of death. The PD-DOC CORE-DS contains 2 instruments to collect postmortem neuropathological data in a standardized format.
