Users are those individuals who are permitted to submit data, retrieve and analyze collected data, or request a consultation from the PD-DOC. Users must read and agree to adhere to all PD-DOC policies. Users must be approved by the PD-DOC before they can submit data (PD-DOC DB, Linked DB, Shared DB) to the PD-DOC.

 

Users who submit data to the PD-DOC DB must be appropriately trained and agree to participate in periodic reliability assessments and possible site auditing. Users allowed to submit data are determined by the PD-DOC sponsor (NINDS) and the Steering Committee. At this time, the users allowed to submit data to the PD-DOC DB are investigators participating in approved NINDS-supported Morris K. Udall Centers of Excellence for Parkinson’s Disease Research (Udall Centers) and investigators of the Parkinson Study Group (PSG) who are participating in the PostCEPT study. The opportunity to submit data to the PD-DOC DB will be expanded to additional investigators in the future.

To request access to sections of the PD-DOC website dealing with downloading or requesting data or submitting data you will need to Register. Before registering, you should read the PD-DOC policies. Note that PD-DOC data can be used for research purposes only. Once your registration is successfully completed you will be automatically logged in to the website. Users will be granted access privileges as appropriate to their request. Registration information will be reviewed by the PD-DOC Project Manager.                                                                                                                   

Users allowed to submit data as a Database for Sharing are NIH funded researchers conducting clinical or translational research in Parkinson’s Disease.
