The Parkinson’s Disease Data and Organizing Center (PD-DOC) facilitates collaborative clinical and translational research in Parkinson’s Disease.
It is funded as a cooperative agreement with NINDS (U01NS050095).
The primary resources and services of the PD-DOC include:
- A centralized and standardized shared database (the PD-DOC Database) of clinical, environmental risk, neuropathological and biological data from subjects with PD and controls.
- An up-to-date catalog of research materials available at user sites.
- Consultation regarding the design, conduct and analysis of research studies utilizing the PD-DOC and interconnected databases.
- Training users who submit data to the PD-DOC Database to ensure quality and reliability.
