This study's is a multicenter, randomized, double‑blind, placebo‑controlled, dose‑finding study with 4 parallel groups, designed to assess the efficacy and safety of CEP‑1347 in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Approximately 800 patients from approximately 65 sites in the Parkinson Study Group (PSG) in the US and Canada were enrolled in this study and received 10, 25, or 50 mg bid of CEP‑1347 or a matching placebo.
