Investigators who submit data regarding a subject to the PD-DOC database are required to request permission from the subject to have blood drawn and submitted to the NINDS Human Genetics Repository (at Coriell) for establishment of cell lines as a permanent source of DNA for research studies.
Thus, for any subjects in the PD-DOC Database who gave permission to submit a blood sample, DNA is available from Coriell for study in conjunction with the data stored in the PD-DOC Database.
