The goal is for all NINDS funded clinical and translational research studies in Parkinson's disease to have a lay summary describing their research work.

To begin this process, the Parkinson's Action Network (PAN) has agreed to host on its website descriptions, in lay language, of each Udall Center's research program. The purpose of this initiative is to provide the Parkinson’s disease lay community the opportunity to better understand the Udall Centers' research and its connection to possible treatments for Parkinson's disease.
